Grenoble hosts GIGABAT’s general meeting for an important milestone
The consortium gathered for the General Assembly marking 18 months of GIGABAT's work
The GIGABAT consortium came together in Grenoble on December 17 and 18 to mark a significant milestone: 18 months since the project’s launch. The meeting was hosted by GIGABAT’s partner VERKOR. The General Assembly provided an opportunity for project partners to share updates, reflect on achievements, and outline future plans to continue advancing toward GIGABAT’s ambitious goals.
Over the two-day meeting, representatives from each partner organization presented key accomplishments from the first year and a half of the project. Highlights included advancements in several aspects related to the composition of batteries, such as coating and drying systems, and advancements in technologies related to the developments of Gigafactories, showcasing the collaborative spirit and innovative potential driving the project forward.
The gathering was also pivotal in laying the groundwork for the next phase of work, with discussions revolving around strategic priorities, upcoming deliverables, and plans to address challenges, all of that to ensure the project remains on track to achieve its objectives.
ICONS led a stakeholder mapping workshop with partners to assess the impact and interest of various stakeholders in supporting the adoption of GIGABAT solutions. Subsequently, stakeholders were prioritized for engagement based on their alignment with the project’s key results. These insights will guide targeted dissemination and exploitation activities, ensuring effective outreach and impact.
