GIGABAT spotlighted in Jagenberg’s Sustainability Report
Green innovation takes center stage in GIGABAT's partners commitment to a more sustainable future
GIGABAT’s partner Jagenberg Converting Solutions has just released its Sustainability Report of 2023, which features two dedicated pages on GIGABAT and an interview to Astrid Lemcke, process engineer involved in the project.
GIGABAT is a EU-funded project coordinated by CIDETEC Energy Storage and involving multiple international partners, focused on developing effective and sustainable Gigafactories for a European-based battery value chain.
The collaboration between Jagenberg and GIGABAT underscores a shared vision of sustainability, where technology meets environmental responsibility. With a focus on reducing carbon footprint and promoting renewable energy adoption, GIGABAT’s inclusion in the sustainability report highlightss its relevant role in driving forward the green agenda.
The report tries to answer the question “What does it take the make the future worth living?” and underscore the responsibility of everybody to commit to a positive change. As mentioned in the interview, innovation is a way to commit to this change, and GIGABAT is here to lead the way towards more sustainable Gigafactories and greener, more efficient battery value chains.
